The FAST FLAT 2 is an evolution of the original SIBARIST FLAT conception, to provide a filter that offers no bypass by sticking completely its surface to the dripper walls, cutting off all possible air channels at the same time offers a perfect and even space for the coffee extraction (non-fluted / free from waves where coffee particles can be trapped filters).

This version 2, drives the SIBARIST no bypass solution to the next level by providing a completely 0% bypass, increasing even more the evenness of the extraction and repeatability thanks to the new original and unique SIBARIST FLAT 2 design based on a sealed flat bed filter instead of folded. Also its simple but unique sealed and pattern design improve the user experience during service, plug and play.

The FAST technology makes possible to provides the FLAT 2 the capability to offer even and fast drawdowns without the air channels.

HOW TO USE

Find instructions here
Fold the two filter sealed areas.
Open the filter by placing the hand inside.
Push down the bottom of the filer, this fill create the lower flat bed area.
Fold the two edges.
Place it in to the dripper, hold it by pushing the filter gently agains the bottom of the dripper and rinse it from the centre to the sides.

NO WAVES

The filter CONE FAST eliminates the air gaps created between the waves of classic flat bed filter which ones produce the bypass effect (the bypass effect might increase the astringency), the FLAT FAST eliminates any air circulation between the filter and the dripper. The FAST Specialty Coffee paper provide enough permeability to provide a fast and good flow rate without these extra air channels. In addition, provides a clean, free paper flavour, and silky mouthfeel that characterizes the FAST Specialty Coffee Filter brews.
The free waves shapes do not allow to the coffee particles to be trapped on the waves, providing a more uniform and complete extraction, ensuring that all the coffee particles used on the brew will be in contact with the water in a more uniform and complete way, providing a more uniform and regular extraction. The simple and plain surface offers a better geometry to create a more uniform turbulence.
