The Next Generation of Coffee Filtration designs Extraction

The SIBARIST ADVANCED Series is a collection of coffee filters created to explore new filter constructions, material combinations and extraction possibilities. Rather than introducing a new filtration technology, each release is designed to explore how engineered filter constructions can actively control extraction dynamics, coffee development and filtration behavior throughout the brewing process. By expanding the possibilities of coffee filtration beyond conventional single-permeability filters, the ADVANCED Series opens new opportunities to intentionally shape the final cup profile.

ADV F/S combines two complementary SIBARIST filtration technologies in a single engineered filter construction. The lower extraction zone incorporates a 45 mm section of SIBARIST FAST technology, maximizing extraction efficiency while optimizing the transfer of desirable soluble compounds into the beverage. The upper section is manufactured using SIBARIST SLOW technology, whose reduced permeability minimizes liquid flow through the upper area, reducing bypass and directing the brewing liquid toward the primary extraction zone. Together, these two engineered permeability zones create a controlled extraction pathway that cannot be achieved with conventional single-permeability filters.
